Welcome to the inaugural blog post from your favorite community of apartments in North San Antonio! Starting now, we’ll be sharing a brand new blog every two weeks. Each post will be custom-written for residents of Remington Ranch, and with the intent of helping residents live their best life while living at our community of apartments.
For our first ever blog post, we thought we’d share some recommendations for apartment decorating tips. The sooner you get your apartment decorated the way you want, the sooner you’ll feel comfortable in your own home. While we aren’t going to tell you exactly how to decorate your place, we are going to tell you about a few apartment decorating rules that you can use to maximize your floor plan. Everyone has a different style, but everyone can benefit from following these simple decor rules.
Without further delay, let’s dive right into the blog post below! When you get done with it, please be sure to share the link to this page with your friends and neighbors at your community of North San Antonio apartments.
Tip 1. Make use of mirrors.
The more mirrors you have in your home, the more natural light you can spread to the farthest corners of your apartment. If you get tired of hanging mirrors, try adding metallic surfaces to your space wherever possible. Natural light is your friend, and the more you can reflect it to the farther corners of your apartment, the better.
Tip 2. Say yes to statement pieces.
It’s hard to decide what to hang up in your apartment. That’s why a lot of people choose not to decide. Instead, they hang lots of smaller pieces, always finding room for one more piece of art or another photo. While this might be a good way to avoid actually choosing a look for your apartment, it’s a bad way to keep your place looking clean and uncluttered. We recommend hanging one or two statement pieces instead. Be bold!
Tip 3. Keep it light and bright.
The more light colors you use, the more spacious your apartment will seem. While we’ve all been tempted to create an apartment that looks like a cozy cave, that’s generally not the best idea. If you want a welcoming, spacious home, you’ve got to keep it light and bright. Go with light blues, yellows and whites. Save the darker colors for the more private rooms in your apartment, like your master bedroom.
Those are all the apartment decor tips we’ve got for you this week, residents! We’re so glad you were able to take some time out of your busy holiday season schedule to hang out with us here on the Remington Ranch blog page, and we hope that you’ll come back to read our second post in a couple weeks! Above all else, however, we hope that you’re able to use these decor tips to turn your Remington Ranch apartment into your ideal living space.
